[Heath] [Heathkit] Knob Inlays and Skirts

I don't know what to do about the skirts but there used to be someone that 
sold the inlays and I think he lived in Virginia.  Someone else might 
remember who he is.

I have a lot of the heathkit knobs on which the aluminum center and skirt
have developed that corrosion look.  Is there a known process for cleaning
them up and returning them to a shiny condition?
