2N301 High Power Germanium PNP Transistors:

The 2N301 / ECG 121 is a high powered germanium
PNP transistor in a TO-3 case. It was used in many
high powered devices in the 1960 and 70's, including
the Heath IP-27 power supply, among others. It is
rated with a Vce up to 45 volts and a collector current
rating of 5 amps. The ECG 121 is rated to 7 amps.

New, unused Motorola 2N301. Two available. $12 each

This is the logo with the Heath name and SB-221, that
goes in the upper left of the front panel. It looks perfect.

Resistors for high voltage metering:

Do you have a linear amplifier that has an
error in the high voltage reading? Maybe you do
not even know it has an error!

Heath used three 4.7 meg resistors in the SB-220/221
and also in the SB-200/201 amplifiers. Almost all
of these resistors are out of tolerance today, partially
because of their age, but also because their voltage
rating was exceeded.

I was able to obtain a quantity of new resistors that
are 4.7 Meg, 1% tolerance, 2 watt, and are rated to
handle the high voltage. This compares to the original
resistors furnished by Heath that were 4.7 Meg, 5%,
1 watt and about 400 volts.

Note that these can be used in any amp that uses the
4.7 Meg resistors -- not just Heath amps.

Harbach Soft Key board SK-220
The SK-220 acts as an amplifier interface between your
modern transceiver and the Heathkit SB-220/SB-221 amplifier.
It is mounted inside the amplifier and transforms the 120V DC
key closure to approximately 0.7VDC at 1.5mA.  Without it you
run the risk of severely damaging the keying circuit in your
modern transceiver.

Knobs for SB series:
Dark green knobs with aluminum skirt, 1 1/8 inch in diameter.
These are the medium size knobs used in all of the SB series of
transceivers, receivers, transmitters and accessories.

Heath Phone Patches For Sale:

Heath HD-15 Phone Patch:
This is the unit with the VU meter on the left and 3 knobs that
match the SB series to the middle and right. Low or high Z
output to the transmitter. It can also be used as an interface
to the computer for PSK31, etc.
This one is in extremely good condition. No scratches or
imperfections.
Paper work included for $25.

Heath HD-19 Phone Patch
This is the older style phone patch that was originally designed
for the DX-60 and rigs of that era. It has a large meter in the
middle, with satin knobs on the bottom.
With paper work for $20.
