These are used as the tuning knob of the SB-100/101/102, SB-300/301/313, SB-400/401, and also on various Heath tuners and amplifiers. This is the large knob that has a dark green color, with an aluminum insert, and aluminum skirt, about 2 1/4 inches in diameter. I will buy the large knob, or I have some of the smaller knobs (about 1 1/8 inch skirts) that are available for trade, or I will sell them. Thanks for your help. 73, Ken, W8EK Ken Simpson E-mail to W8EK at FLHam.net or W8EK at arrl.net Voice Phone (352) 732-8400 . Put it on the bench in preparation for Straight Key Night.? I have it paired with a VF-1 that has been modified for grid block keying to be compatible with the DX-60. With the rig in the in the CW position, key up, I am reading between 15 and 20 mils resting plate current.? Just for kicks I switched in a crystal and the plate current dropped to 5 mils resting.? I have a DX-60B and the manual says 5-20 mills is normal. I alternate between a VF-1 modified as yours, a HG-10B, and multiple crystals. In my case the resting plate current is about 8-9 with either VFO and about 12 with the crystals. So kind of the reverse of your readings but well within range. 73 de Rich WA3WLH On Sat, Dec 29, 2018 at 07:32:19PM +0000, Allen Jones via Heath wrote: > I have a DX-60 that I refurbished a few years ago but never put on the air.?
