Heath Power Supply for tube type rigs,
Original
Manuals, High Voltage resistors and more For Sale:
.
Heath HP-23 Power Supply:
Well, it is really not a Heath power supply.
It is the homebrew equivalent to the Heath
HP-23, only it is built more rugged.
It has outputs for both 6.3 V AC and 12.6 V AC
filaments. I measured the low voltage DC at 278
volts, and the high voltage at 688 volts.
Bias is -130 V DC.
Obviously, this will depend on your line voltage.
The person who made this used very heavy duty
parts, and even used oil filled filter caps, so you do
not need to worry about nasty aged electrolytics.
It has an 11 pin "octal" socket for output, just
as many of the Heath supplies, but also has two
5 pin DIN plugs where one can take output voltages.
Voltages, pin outs, etc. are documented right on
this well made power supply.
It could be used on Collins and other tube type
transceivers as well.
Buy it for only $100.

Resistors for high voltage metering For Sale:
Do you have a linear amplifier that has an
error in the high voltage reading? Maybe you do
not even know it has an error!
Heath used three 4.7 meg resistors in the SB-220/221
and also in the SB-200/201 amplifiers. Almost all
of these resistors are out of tolerance today, partially
because of their age, but also because their voltage
rating was exceeded.
I was able to obtain a quantity of new resistors that
are 4.7 Meg, 1% tolerance, 2 watt, and are rated to
handle the high voltage. This compares to the original
resistors furnished by Heath that were 4.7 Meg, 5%,
1 watt and about 400 volts.
Note that these can be used in any amp that uses the
4.7 Meg resistors -- not just Heath amps.
Buy a set of three for $3 plus shipping from Florida.
Combine with other items to save shipping!
I also have a few 0.82 ohm and 1 ohm precision
resistors, as used by the SB-220/200, available.
.
I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF
and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories,
etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.
.
Prices do not include shipping from Florida.
Thanks.
