Heath HW-101 HF Transceiver, HP-23 Power Supply,
Crystal filters, cable, and misc. parts For Sale:

.

Heath HW-101 HF Transceiver

Most of us know this is an 80 thru 10 meter SSB/CW
transceiver. It is vintage, using tubes, with a
pair of 6146's in the final that produces just over
100 Watts.

This one works as it should.
The electrolytic cap in it has been replaced.
Cosmetically, it is MUCH better than most.
Very immaculate, not scratched at all.

Buy it with paper work for $200.

.

HP-23 power supplies

Both of these supplies work as they should,
powering the HW-101 just fine.

The first is a plain HP-23 (no suffix). Of course
it produces about 800 V DC for the finals, plus 300 V
DC for the receiver, and -130 V DC for bias.
It also produces either 12.6 V AC or 6.3 V AC for
filaments. If you need the 6.3 V AC (the HW-101
does not), then this is the one you need. It has
been completely rebuilt with all new filter caps,
diodes, and resistors. Only the power transformer,
choke, and chassis were reused. Cosmetically
it is fine. It lived its life inside an SB-600 speaker
(now sold), so there is no top cover.
Buy it with paper work for $100.

HP-23 B
This is the most desirable of the HP-23 series.
It produces the voltages listed above, but only 12.6
V AC for filaments -- no 6.3 V AC. The on-off
switch allows one to switch between 250 and 300
V DC for low voltage. I planned to completely
rebuild it like the one above, until I opened it
up to discover the filter caps had already been
replaced. With a 2010 date code, I think it is
safe to say the caps are not original!
This one DOES have its protective top cover,
and cosmetically looks great.
Buy it with paper work for $110.

.

Power supply cable
You may need a cable to connect your rig with your
power supply. This is the cable. It has an 11 pin
"octal" plug on one end and a similar socket
on the other end, with hoods, on it. $30

.

Heath Crystal Filters:

Crystal Filters are $70 each.

Heath 404-283 SSB Crystal Filter
This is the 2100 Hz filter used in the SB-100,
101, and 102 transceivers, and possibly also in
the SB-400/401 transmitters. It works like
it should.

Heath 404-284-1 CW Crystal Filter
This is the 400 Hz filter that is used for narrow
CW and is an optional accessory in the SB line,
and HW line of transceivers, plus in the
SB-300/301/303 receivers.
It works fine.

.

I will be parting out an SB-102 transceiver.
This is maybe 20% assembled, with most parts
completely new. But I don't think all parts
are there.

I have a brand new front panel.
I know it is new, because I unsealed it to see
what it was. There also should be a complete
set of tubes, and many other parts, including
the meter and plenty of knobs. If you need something
in particular, please e-mail with details, and
I will see if I can help.

.

I also have many other accessories available such as many
different types of microphones, HTs, VHF and UHF rigs, HF
and VHF/UHF antennas, connectors, miscellaneous accessories,
etc.
Just too many to list here. Please e-mail your requests.

.

Prices do not include shipping from Florida.

Thanks.
