Heath HRA-10-1 Crystal Calibrator:

The Heath HRA-10-1 is a 100 KHz crystal calibrator
for use in some of the Heath tube type rigs,
including the HR-10 B receiver, and the Heath
series of single band transceivers, among others.

It is made to plug into an octal socket in these
rigs, making installation extremely easy.

If you have used these rigs, you know that the dial
calibration leaves a bit to be desired. With
the crystal calibrator, you can help this situation.

This one works fine, and looks fine also, as if
looks really matters for something that goes
inside the rig.

Heath Crystal Filters:

Crystal Filters are $70 each.

Heath 404-283 SSB Crystal Filter
This is the 2100 Hz filter used in the SB-100,
101, and 102 transceivers, and also in the
SB-400/401 transmitters and SB-300/301/303
receivers. It works like it should.

Heath 404-284-1 CW Crystal Filter
This is the 400 Hz filter that is used for narrow
CW and is an optional accessory in the SB line,
and HW line of transceivers, plus in the
SB-300/301/303 receivers.
It works fine.

Heath AV-3 Audio VTVM:
-
The Heath AV-3 AC Vacuum Tube Voltmeter was designed
especially for audio measurements, and for use in
making low-level AC measurements in power supply
filters, etc. This voltmeter emphasizes stability,
broad frequency response, and sensitivity. It is
an extremely stable circuit with high input
impedance (1 megohm at 1000 CPS). The frequency
response of the model AV-3 is essentially flat
from 10 CPS to 400 kc. and is usable for tests
well beyond these frequency limits.

Measures AC signals from 1 mV to 300 V at high impedance

This meter looks close to new. It works as it should.
I calibrated it at 30 V AC.

Heath IT-18 Transistor Tester:

The Heath IT-18 is listed as both an in circuit
and an out of circuit transistor tester. It has
a nice socket for out of circuit measurements,
if desired, although test leads can also be used.

This has a nice large meter. It requires a "D"
cell to operate.

It is housed in a nice black protective case,
that closes completely for easy portability.

This one works as it should, and looks really
great. No defects.

Resistors for Linear Amps:

Have you replaced the filter caps or do you
have an error in the high voltage reading
in your linear amp?

Most amps used resistors that got too hot for
bleeders/equalizing near the filter caps. I
have some 120 K ohm, 3 watt, 1% resistors
that are really great for bleeder/equalizing
resistors in the capacitor string. 1% equalizes
much better, and the caps will last longer with
less heat.

Many amps used three 4.7 meg resistors
in series to meter high voltage. Almost all
of these resistors are out of tolerance today,
partially because of their age, but also
because their voltage rating was exceeded.

I have 4.7 Meg, 1% tolerance, 2 watt, rated
to handle the high voltage. This compares to
the original resistors furnished by Heath that
were 4.7 Meg, 5%, 1 watt and about 400 volts.

All of the resistors are $1 each, plus shipping,
which is minimal since they can ship in a first
class envelope.

Heath HD-15 Phone Patch and also parts:

The HD-15 is a phone patch that matches the Heath
SB line of equipment.

This one works fine and looks really great.

With paper work for $25, plus shipping from Florida.

HD-15 Phone Patch available.

The top cover and the meter movement are
gone, but most other parts are available,
including the transformers, which can be used
to interface between your rig and computer.

Knobs are also available.

Parts for Heath SB-630 station console:

Many SB-630 parts are available.

Most of the internal parts are left, including
all of the "under chassis" parts.

Front panel, clock and outer case are gone, but
reflectometer assembly, transformer, switches,
etc. are still available.
