Hi Mike

                As you probably know, the Heathkit SB-1000 is basically the
same as an Ameritron AL-80A. 

 

Give MFJ/Ameritron a call. I believe the relay from the AL-80B is a fit

 

Take plenty of photos to refer to as you begin the replacement, take your
time and you'll be successful.
