It needs cleaning! A lot! The good: I knew after setting 12 years it would need new filter capacitors, so I replaced them. The high voltage is now 2400 V, just as it should be. Both tubes are Made in USA Cetron tubes. The most desirable type. As far as I know, all parts are there, and the transformer is good. The bad: It is filthy. It does not have any soft start, soft key, or any protection diodes. It needs a thorough cleaning. I am offering it as a tech special. Spend some time with it, and you will have a good HF amp. Buy it for $450. Pick up near Ocala FL is preferred, but I will ship at your expense. . Heath HM-102 HF Wattmeter / SWR Bridge For Sale: The Heath HM-102 is an HF wattmeter, covering 1.8 to 30 MHz, which obviously includes all HF bands. It is similar to the HM-2102 VHF Wattmeter, but for HF frequencies, with 2000 and 200 watt scales. It can also be used to check SWR, and has a remote sensor that can either be left inside the meter, or separated from the actual meter by about 3 feet. SO-239 connectors in and out. This particular meter works great; its readings compare favorably to my LP-100A which is calibrated to National Bureau of Standards. It looks great. Buy it with paper work for $55. . Heathkit SK-201 Spike and Surge Protector For Sale: The Heathkit SK-201 is designed to protect your phone line from surges and spikes. The object is to encourage restoration, operation and enjoyment of this older Classic equipment. You need not operate a Classic rig to participate in the CX. You may use any rig in the contest although new gear is a distinct scoring disadvantage as your multipliers are directly related to the age of the equipment you use! However, you can still work the "great ones" with modern equipment. There are two (2) entry categories per mode: ?Three or fewer receiver-transmitter pairs ?Four or more receiver-transmitter pairs.
