(Not the AL-80A or later ones--I have an original AL-80, made prior to the company's move to Mississippi.) The manual is very poorly done. It states that one should tune for max output without exceeding 150 ma grid current and 350 ma of plate current, but fails to say how much output power should be showing at this point. In fact, the manual nowhere states what the output power of the amp is--no CW figure, no PEP figure--nada! Appreciate any info anyone might have on this beast! Many thanks, Keith ]
