Trying to bring an old '101 back to life. The cw
portion of each band is somewhere in the middle of the dial, say around .250 or
so. Isn't this much too far to "walk it" back to the proper place using
the trimmers and vfo coil on the vfo. When you lock the dial and walk it
back using the main tuning knob you end up with only about half of the band
coverage because you have used up all of the travel on the tuning cap in the
vfo. Hope someone understand's what I'm trying to say?? Thanks in
advance.
