A couple guys ragged on me about my "AM-wide signal..." (a slight exaggeration I'm sure), "...although it sure does sound nice!" I would guess that the tube SB-rigs had typical hi-z input and the SB-104 was a low-z, but that's an assumption based on Japanese solid state rigs. Being Heath's first solid-state rig, they may have had the foresight to keep the audio input stage compatible with existing hi-z mikes. Murray ]
