<DIV>Hello Chris, Bob, Dave,</DIV>
<DIV>Thanks for your response to my query.</DIV>
<DIV>And Bob; that's quite a novel idea but, I think it might be a bit beyond my
capabilities!!!</DIV>
<DIV>Dave. What I had in mind was to replace the point to point wiring with a
few PC Boards, but still use the vacuum tubes. Your idea to go all solid
state sounds very interesting but is going far beyond what I had in mind.
Nevertheless I would be interested in hearing how you are progressing. </DIV>
<DIV>I got the idea for a PC Board conversion after seeing a PC Board
upgrade put out by Heath (many years ago) for their VTVM Model IM-28. My VTVM
IM-28 is an older model and uses P to P wiring.</DIV>
<DIV>I also have an HO-10 Monitor Scope which needs re-building. As this model
is about half the size of the SB-610 I thought it would be an ideal
candidate for PC Board conversion, mainly because of the cramped space
under the chassis.</DIV>
<DIV>Let me, and everyone else, know how you progress with your re-design.</DIV>
