<DIV>It was noted in a recent post that the SB100 did not have the CW filter.
Well, I have a SB-100 with such a filter which was actuated with the notorious
lever actuator which usually breaks. On the front panel is small overlay panel
which has the labeling for the filter. I don't know if this was a mod kit put
out by Heath for late SB100s, a custom job or a prototype as I purchased this
unit used. Several years ago I furnished a picture of this to the fellow that
wrote a book on Heathkits and he included it as I remember.</DIV>

<DIV>I do know that Heath did put out a mod kit for the SB100 which made the
best position of the driver/preselector to be nearly the same for both transmit
and receive. The kit had a resistor, diode and maybe a capacitor. I did have
(don't know if I still do) the manual for this mod.</DIV>
