<DIV>Hi Sandy</DIV>

<DIV>Some quick on load off load measurements with a test meter will point you
in the right direction. The PA HT supply has a minimum load of around 29mA due
to the presence of the VR tube feed for the PA screens which would provide a
minimum load during key up conditions. The HT supply apparently has a swinging
choke to aid in minimising the voltage variation but you should expect more the
valve rectifiers than with solid state rectifiers.</DIV>
