I can<br>get plenty of power out into the dummy load/WM, but I figured I'd better<br>calibrate the VFO to make sure exactly where I am.<br><br>I've discovered that for 20 and 10 meters, there isn't near enough<br>bandspread. With the capacitors at minimum mesh (max cap), I'm still way<br>short on bandspread on the L side. the 80 meter band was OK, but the cap is<br>almost at max there too.<br><br>Seems like I've got to add some fixed capacitance to the coils on the bands<br>in order to stretch things out. Problem is, how much? I don't want to<br>cut-and-try myself crazy on this.
