I can get plenty of power out into the dummy load/WM, but I figured I'd better calibrate the VFO to make sure exactly where I am.<br>
<br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large;color:rgb(0,0,255)">I've discovered that for 20 and 10 meters, there isn't near enough bandspread. With the capacitors at minimum mesh (max cap), I'm still way short on bandspread on the L side. the 80 meter band was OK, but the cap is almost at max there too.<br>
<br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:large;color:rgb(0,0,255)">Seems like I've got to add some fixed capacitance to the coils on the bands in order to stretch things out. Problem is, how much? I don't want to cut-and-try myself crazy on this. Has anyone else on the list run into a similar problem with their rig?<br>
