passband ripple becoming worse. I have noted this problem with several SSB
filters and have managed to improve matters with some external impedance
correction components.</DIV>

<DIV>I have had one SSB filter that had a broken internal connection and really
bad ripple - this filter had to be opened up to correct the problem and
resealed afterwards. I also noted that one of the internal inductors had not
been sealed so the turns were still loose.</DIV>
