However, above the broadcast band, even with the reduction, it is not easy tuning in any particular station. That is where the bandspread dial comes into play. while, my "good" AR-3's main tuning inner shaft can be rotated inside the outer shaft with
considerable difficulty....but at least I appear to be making some progress.</span></font></div>
