    Don't forget lacquer thinner--an almost universal organic
    solvent...but you'd need a closed container for it as it will flash
    off in a few minutes...<br>

          jar with a small amount of paraffin in the bottom and leaving
          it to soak for a while with a lid on the jar? </div>

          spirit (household paint thinner) which I use as a degreasing
          agent when cleaning panels prior to priming and painting.</div>
