<div>Folks, I have a question. My SB 220 amp has
filaments and HV. BUT, when amp is turned on,
the plate meter goes negative slightly and
softly. In addition, grounding the relay jack
does not key up the amp. No relay pull in or
click and no resting current on finals.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I replaced the diode that provides relay
voltage thinking the relay supply might not be
providing voltage.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I am puzzled because the relay keying circuit
is simple but given the negative movement of the
plate meter makes me wonder if something is
wrong on the rectifier/metering board.</div>
