<DIV>David..What you are reading is the secondary winding of the output transformer...It will probably show a "DC" short on a VOM...That's normal...There coulkd be many things causing your issue...Do have a VOM or VTVM?  Hard to troubshoot it without it...Download a schematic and manual and start checking the voltages (carefully) on the pins of the tubes...You can use the voltage and resistance tables in the manual to locate the problem...</DIV>
