<DIV>Hi Guy...Ken, K7EKB, said he repaired one of this version..He drilled out the spot welds to get the cover off.. I used the same method, then soldered two pieces of copper braid (solder wick) to the face of the brass gear on the shaft. The other ends of the braid were soldered to the chassis. Used sheet metal screws to reattach the box side...So far so good..I'll let everyone know
