<div dir="ltr"><br>The 2N6456, RF transistors can be replaced with NTE325. I found it on eBay, but I was shocked to learn that the seller is tremendously greedy because he asked for around 100 dollars each. But you can negotiate an offer from the seller for four pieces. I assume the seller may have no choice because no one will buy it. I strongly encourage you to keep watch for anyone who may sell the SB-104 or SB104A that uses 2N6456 RF transistors where you can pull out. Keep other parts for your future replacement for your unit.<br><br>I will keep searching for the replacement parts and let you know.<br><div><br></div><div>Steven</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, Sep 22, 2021 at 2:22 PM ka9dzr--- via Heath <<a href="mailto:heath@puck.nether.net">heath@puck.nether.net</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div>

<div dir="ltr">I have learned that the 2n6456 final RF transistors are no longer available and I NEED to replace the four (4) in a Heath SB 104A. Has anyone found a suitable replacement transistor for this application? I have thoroughly checked with RF Parts and they no longer stock those transistors.</div>
<div dir="ltr"> </div>
<div dir="ltr">Does anyone have experience substituting the final transistors in the SB 104A? If so what did you use as a replacement and do you know where they can be found? Thanks and 73, John, K5PGW</div>
