Hi Kurt,
Have you tried rebuilding the box from a PCMCIA card? That totally
formats the disk (both hard and flash). If, after that, you still
find it is booting from alternative-media, then I suggest a call to
JTAC and they'll help you organise a replacement. If you have a
support contract covering that box, then you should either get an
advanced replacement or you'll have to return the RE and await its
repair/replacement and return to you.
