hi sean,
you set the ce1 interface to clocking external. A show interface
ce1-0/0/1 will show that.
The ds interface is a separate interface and that's why the juniper
default ( clocking internal ) is showen there.
Clocking is a "per physical e1" parameter, so at a sub-e1 ds interface
level it wouldn't make much sense anyway...
