Hi,
nmapping a Juniper here reveals the following open ports:
PORT STATE SERVICE
22/tcp open ssh
179/tcp open bgp
500/udp open isakmp
514/udp open syslog
646/tcp open unknown LDP
646/udp open unknown LDP
1709/udp open unknown
2265/udp open unknown
2408/udp open unknown
3503/udp open unknown MPLS LSP-Ping
3784/udp open unknown BFD
3796/udp open unknown
9875/udp open unknown SAPv1
For some I have found the application (written after the "unknown"),
but for some I fail to find anything. Anybody?
BTW... why does the syslogd have UDP/514 open? I don't think that
he's supposed to receive syslog messages from the network, only locally
via UNIX domain sockets?!
Best regards,
Daniel
