Greetings,
Does anybody have some pointers on how to get the pingMIB working? I'm trying it on
an M10 and an M7i.
Here's what I'm doing:
snmpset -v2c -c ping-test 10.1.1.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.80.1.2.1.23.1.10.1.10 i 5
snmpset -v2c -c ping-test 10.1.1.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.80.1.2.1.4.1.10.1.10 s 10.2.2.2
snmpset -v2c -c ping-test 10.1.1.1 .1.3.6.1.2.1.80.1.2.1.23.1.10.1.10 i 1
On the last set I receive an inconsistentValue error. From what I can tell, the
above should be enough to actually run a ping. When I walk the pingMIB,
pingCtlRowStatus is set to 3.
All the docs I've found are pretty sparse on actual, useful information. Can anyone
offer me some advice?
Cheers,
Thomas
