[j-nsp] M7i SFP gbic

I am using a Nortel LX SFP GBIC in an M20 PIC, and I am using a Juniper SX
SFP GBIC in a Nortel BPS 2000 without any problems.

I think the Nortel GBIC was manufactured by IBM, and the Juniper GBIC was
manufactured by Finisar.

Hi,

does anyone know if the juniper SFP gbics are "coded" like cisco ones,
meaning one cannot use e.g. a cisco sfp in a M7i?

Regards,
Jonas Frey
