Tried it, still works for me.

I do have acknowledge several

       SSL error:unable to get local issuer certificate-Continue? (y)

and login once but it works.

My lynx version info:
> lynx -version

Lynx Version 2.8.5rel.2 (22 Apr 2004)
libwww-FM 2.14, SSL-MM 1.4.1, OpenSSL 0.9.7d

that is exactly what failed for me.  could not get cert for https://...
