RES: [j-nsp] interop issue b/w JNPR and Nortel 5510 switch

Hello,

I had some problems with nortel switches (BPS2k) with flow control. 

The nortel switch was showing all the time FCS errors on the GIGA port and on JNPR the 1000SX interface was clean.

My problem was related with flow control autonegotiation issues on nortel switch.

Are you using auto negotiation on the switch side of the GigE...? Seen 
strange things happen with switches on auto-neg connected up to Juniper 
GE pics
