Hello Michael,
 
I do pretty much the same thing. 

Loopbacks have /32 real world addresses, and I use them to terminate
routing e.g. ISIS, OSPF, BGP, as well as LSP endpoints for MPLS

I primarily use loopbacks for routing to ensure route stability.
Management is OOB across a separate RFC1918 network
