Shure you can use it,

You can use any valid IP address of the range:

192.168.100.0 255.255.255.128:

192.168.100.1 until 192.168.100.126 ... since you configure the lan
hosts (clients) to use the choosed IP as a gateway.

The first IP address is only used for easy adminstration.
