Which makes me think that if this is the problem and that if the E series 
drives are fine without recals, that Juniper had damned well better get off 
their asses and proactively replace each and every one of these for free. 
For what we've all been paying for them that's the level of service we 
should expect.  In the meantime I'll probably have to do this anyway at our 
expense just to avoid catastrophic failures like everyone else has been 
seeing but I've been lucky enough to avoid.


Needless to say, I'm a little irked by this.
