ftp 10.3.1.38
Login: username
Password: password
ftp> put <file name>
ftp> bye
JunOS also supports SCP and SFTP if you need/want the transfer
encrypted.
'run' is a standard command prefix to allow you to perform user mode
commands while in edit configuration mode - e.g. while editing the
config
you can do 'run traceroute x.x.x.x' to check the route the router is
currently using to reach x.x.x.x
