They peer and discuss things via IPv6's link-local addresses (FE80:: ....)
so there are some technical differences at that point on reachability, but
it's still hop-by-hop since no device outside that link has any concept of
how to reach a particular address.

Could anybody explain the meaning of the line "ospfv3 runs per link"
I understand that ospfv3 routers, unlike ospfv2 ones, do not have to be on
the same IP subnet.
