One of our clients in the managed hosting space with data centers
nationwide has an immediate need for a Support Engineer with expertise
in Backup and Storage technologies - especially Veritas Backup
Products. This is a customer facing role, so previous experience
supporting customers is highly desirable.
The position is full-time permanent based in Denver and the

Support Engineer Network- Denver, Colorado
4+ years overall experience with at least the last 1 ½ years focused
on providing technical support across a broad range of networking
technologies and topologies including:
o LAN/WAN
o Routing and switching technologies and devices
o Firewalls
o Virtual Private Network (VPN)
o Windows and UNIX operating systems
o Network management tools
Position requires extensive knowledge and experience with large,
complex networks that support multiple customers with differing
configuration and system access requirements. Must have extensive
knowledge of security controls, firewalls (e.g., Cisco PIX) and
related technologies and be able to analyze and troubleshoot
connectivity issues. Requires in-depth installation, configuration
and troubleshooting experience with advanced network devices including
routers and switches. Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and
resolving technical issues related to routing protocols (e.g., EIGRP,
OSPF, BGP), LAN technologies (Ethernet, VLAN), WAN technologies (Frame
Relay, TI, DS3), and advanced knowledge of Windows and UNIX network
configuration is required. Knowledge and work experience with network
and systems management tools (e.g., Cisco Works, Netcool) is required.
Advanced technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are highly
desirable.
