I had 10 M40's running 12 IBGP sessions with a few upstream full route 
sessions with 256MB.  We were running  at 85-95% with that.  512MB 
brought us down to 30%. If we had RE1.0's running 256MB well enough, I 
would say 512MB should be good for you on the RE2.0. 256MB will get you 
up and running.  Hope this helps..  //db
