| Has anyone tried using an off-the-shelf CF card? Was it a Type-I or
| Type-II?

I've found that 512MB SimpleTech Type 1 PC Card flash doesn't work in
the routing engines of M160s or M320s. Note that this was in the
external slot. The messages in /var/log/messages were:

Jan 31 16:37:40 /kernel: pccard: card inserted, slot 0
Jan 31 16:37:43 pccardd[2340]: Card "STI"("Flash 6.2.0") [(null)]
[(null)] has function ID 4
Jan 31 16:37:43 pccardd[2340]: Failed to allocate IRQ for (null)

SanDisk flash PC Cards (supplied by Juniper) worked fine.

Cheers,

Alastair Galloway
