Maarten,

        the  reason  why  you  get  'kicked' out is because mgd daemon
        terminated..  you  mist likely have a core file under /var/tmp
        This  issue  is  most  likely  fixed  in  6.3R2  onwards. As a
        workaround you may want to move the edit command to the [edit]
        hierarchy  level  before  you  issue  the  command and then it
        should work.
