Well. We do have one answer to one of your questions :-)
LDP session goes down because the routing protocol daemon spends way
too much time parsing its config.
Can you enable "task accounting" (i.e. "set task accounting on") on
one of your box and provide the log w/ that option enabled ?
Any change you can provide your full config to someone within juniper ?
support would be ideal...

ok... it would be important to have an example of a config
change. with the exact commands so we can reproduce it.
