[j-nsp] How to debug if the state of OSPF neighbor is ExStartonM20

We had experienced this problem between M10i and C5300 a month ago. We
found out that M10i's ethernet interface has a MAC address of
00:00:00:00:00:00. When we set it manually, OSPF problem was solved
because two way connectivity was established.

Perhaps we have already checked the interface parameters... Just a huble
reminder.

So if I want to change the MUT to fix the ospf problem, which part of
MTU( L2 or L3) should I modify ?

FE's ethernet Mtu is 1514 (1500 ip mtu)

Hello Scott

What is the default value on M20 ? We are using 4-port FE.

Eric

Depending on which L3 switch/IOS we're talking about, it's probably
because the system mtu is defaulting to 1518 on the Cisco side. Change
ip mtu on the Cisco interface to 1500 and life should be good.

Hello all

Could someone tell me what shoud I do if the state of OSPF neighbor
is ExStart on M20 ? The neighbor is Cisco L3 switch. Is it related to
MTU size of the interface ? If it is, to what value should I modify ?
Thanks fo your support !!
