Zvezdelin,

if the link runs clean (run a rapid ping, large packet size, various payloads
to get some additional confirmation), i'd suspect the HP is still sending some
type of unsupported L2 protocol to the router. Perhaps the switch can do port-
mirroring so you can do some sniffing ?
