[j-nsp] link 1 sge TX BGAP CRC error

I have an M320 with a ge-2/2/1 interface which stops passing traffic every
couple of weeks. I can clear the issue by offline/online the
PB-4GE-SFP PIC. I have opened two JTAC cases, but they seem to think its
a line issue and nothing to do with the FPC or PIC. Are the following errors 
a normal result of problems with the far end device?
