Hi,

 

Quick question re: LX Gig-E SFPs. Since the receiver saturation
threshold on one of these is -3dBm, the maximum transmit power is -3dBm
and some attenuation is introduced at both ends of the patch cable, my
feeling is that it should be safe to use two of these back-to-back over
short distances (approx. 2m).

 

Has anyone any thoughts on this, or should we look at introducing
further attenuation?
