Yes, J-series does support that. Config is same as 
for SFW for M/T series.

Does the stateful firewall in the J-series routers support hard to
firewall
protocols such as FTP?

For example, on a Cisco router running IOS Firewall you can say

inspect ftp

and the firewall will monitor outgoing packets for the port address the
client will be listening on so that it can open a hole in the firewall
for
the data connection. IOS supports many protocols in this way, including
SIP,
skinny, bittorrent, etc.

Does the Junos stateful firewall support anything similar?
