[j-nsp] RTP compression and interface types

hello:

does cRTP (adaptive pic) work on fast/gigabit ethernet
pic or it could only function on a certain types of
interfaces?

from the configuration samples on junos, it seems to
be only working on serial interface (with ppp as
layer-2 protocol).
