I believe this is possible only for private AS numbers, so you have two
options:
- Use a private AS for your customer and strip out that AS as you
advertise it upstream.
- Tell the registry that the blocks come from the customer's public AS.
Cheers,
Andrew

Subject: [j-nsp] Replace peer AS number
Is it possible to strip replace a peer's AS number with my own before
announcing my prefixes to an upstream?
The reason I want to do this is because I have assigned multiple blocks
of my IP addresses to one my peers, and running several BGP sessions
with them over different links. This peer is peering with us using a
non-private AS number.
Currently when I announce my prefixes to an upstream, the peer's AS
number is in the AS path. I would like this removed, so could anyone
advise how this can be done?
