I can imagine possibilities. If the links are run through
a switch which is performing FRF.8 frame-ATM interworking,
it may be possible to run PPP on top of the frame and ATM (I
believe I set it up at one point on Cisco equipment, some
years back), but it's a pretty obscure config, and it's
generally easier to bundle the links in the switch (FRF.16
MFR -> single ATM PVC, as I'm assuming multiple smaller
links on the serial side to a larger ATM interface, you said
"ATM card" and not "cards", and "IMA" and "Juniper" don't
mix). And then there's always ECMP.
