[j-nsp] NSR, multicast, and VRFs?

OK, the High Availability docs aren't terribly clear. Does anyone
know if I can use NSR with both multicast and L3 VPNs?

8.4/8.5 HA doc simply says:

Nonstop routing is supported for the following protocols:
     * Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

9.0 says:

Nonstop active routing is supported for aggregate and static routes
and for the following protocols:
     * Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), except for BGP VPN services

So apparently no L3 VPNs there. Were they present earlier, or just
not caveated?

Now, 9.1 says:

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), for unicast IPv4 and IPv6 address
families only. If you configure any other address family, the BGP
session will not come up on the backup router.

which seems to say, relative to 9.0, that VRFs are OK but multicast is
not.

Except that the 9.1 Feature Guide indicates new support for *L2* VPNs
but nothing about L3.

Any on-the-ground experience would be appreciated :-)
