I can probably name the person from whom you received your first email. The last time I made a mere mention on the list that I "would have to find" (not purchase) a piece of hardware, one guy in particular emailed me at least three times, then began calling my place of business about every other day. I ended up dumping his number straight into my 'reject' rules on our phone system.

I can attest to this.
> I personally would use a reputable dealer like Network Hardware Resellers. While they might not have the best price, they're not going to scrape emails off this list, nor send you weekly "ZOMG, CHECK OUT OUR CRAZY CISCO INVENTORY!!" emails. They typically also provide a year warranty and have lots of knowledgeable folks on staff.
Aren't those the guys who, if you visit their website, will perform
a WHOIS on your IP and call the tech contact from the WHOIS info ?
MAN that's annoying...
David
